Welcome to my blog. It will feature book reviews, legal news, and anything else which outrages or amuses me. Expect a progressive, analytical, and Canadian slant. (Canadian references will be explained on request.) Plus a dash of humour.
Comments, critical and otherwise, are welcome. However, please note that I have a strong prejudice against poor spelling, grammar, and punctuation. It's silly of me, I know, but I just can't help assuming that comments from people who write "your" for "you're" will be inane, irrelevant, or otherwise unworthy of intelligent consideration.
Before anyone tries to correct my spelling, I hereby announce that this blog uses Canadian spelling, the most obvious feature of which is the retention of the "u" which Noah Webster ruthlessly excised from American orthography in words such as neighbour. You are welcome to ridicule my grammar or punctuation in the unlikely event that you find a mistake. (Of course, if you're wrong in your correction, expect no mercy!
